Dr. Brit is a Doctor of Physical Therapy practicing for over 12 years with experience working with athletes in sports medicine, orthopedics, geriatrics to pediatrics and vestibular rehabilitation.  She is also an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and the owner of Elevate PT & Wellness. She treats the whole body to identify and fix the root cause. Her treatment plans focus on enhancing recovery, restoring mobility, & optimizing performance through the use of Yoga & Pilates principles, skilled manual therapy, functional taping, & therapeutic modalities.

Brittany received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from East Stroudsburg University in 2008 and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in 2013. She has learned peripheral and spinal manual therapy and manipulative physical therapy, Maitland Approach, Mulligan Concepts, McKenzie Method, and Cranial therapy. In 2013, Brittany attended a medical mission trip to Costa Rica to serve those in need in diverse settings (orphanages, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and rehabilitation clinics). Brittany and her colleagues administered individualized screenings, evaluations, skilled treatments, and other services to patients who do not have adequate access to necessary medical care. She also assisted with building a thriving physical therapy practice in an orphanage, which protects and cares for abandoned persons living with severe and profound neurologic disorders. Brittany's doctoral dissertation was on Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, a type of vertigo that can be treated and managed through physical therapy.

Brittany is very passionate about learning so she can help others and consistently delivers compassionate care. She enjoys cooking and views food as medicine. She offers cooking classes for children and adults in addition to nutritional counseling.
